I offer handcrafted, organic products designed to support your daily self-care—from deeply nourishing moisturizers like lotion bars, anti-aging cream, nail conditioning serum, and cuticle cream, to soothing pain relief and gentle bath essentials like deodorant and foaming hand wash. Each product is thoughtfully made with quality ingredients to provide effective, natural care you can feel good about using every day. My goal is to offer simple, reliable solutions that help you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in your skin.

A move to the country was my inspiration for a hobby that has turned into a business.

I am a retired medical and chiropractic assistant and when my husband and when I moved to rural Cotopaxi, I subscribed to a survival website and got some ideas for do-it-yourself projects.

I started making lotion bars, which can help with nighttime leg and ankle cramps, as well as sooth itchy skin like psoriasis and eczema. Since no water is added, they are very moisturizing. To use, simply rub on and massage in. After advertising on Facebook and seeing that people liked it, I decided to try other products and those were also liked so I kept making other products. 

My line of Sagebrush Botanicals now includes pain creams, lavender salve, a multipurpose healing salve, a lightly scented vapor rub, facial care for both women and men, cuticle cream, deodorant, lip balms, foaming hand wash, aromatherapy inhalers, nighttime balm to help induce sleep and bug spray and even a dog paw wax.

The base in most of my products is coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils. Other products include jojoba oil, almond oil, olive oil. My lotion bars contain shea butter as well as coconut oil and beeswax.

I also make dream pillow sachets which are filled with dried herbs. The intent is to improve dreams and sleep. Even the fabric is organic. They are placed between the pillowcase and pillow and as you move around during the night, it releases the scent of the herbs and encourages relaxation and sleep. 

My goal is to make products that other people aren’t making and for those that prefer organic products with no artificial ingredients or preservatives. 

None of my products contain sagebrush though. I was trying to think of a name for the business and everything I thought of was taken. A road by our home is called Sagebrush and saw that name wasn't taken and thus it became Sagebrush Botanicals.
